eSpatial Solutions Ltd is an Irish company founded in 1997 specialising in the development and sale of innovative software products to run and develop enterprise-class geospatial applications and services. eSpatial is an SME, with a staff of approximately 30, most of whom are based in at the company's headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

eSpatial has clients and partners in Ireland, rest of Europe (particularly Greece, Portugal, UK), and the USA. eSpatial works closely with partners and allies throughout Europe, including Oracle (as one of Oracle's top-20 ISV partners in EMEA), Accenture, HP, EDS, Novageo, Altec, JESP, Realworld, Steria, Ultra... Other Partners and alliances include TITAN, SAIC, Sanborne, and Systalex.... Projects of particular relevance carried out by eSpatial are provision (with Accenture) of a spatial application to manage approximately €1.5 Billion p.a. Area Aid payments to farmers in Ireland (EU IACS system).

eSpatial has also deployed a data capture system for IACS in Greece (targeted at 3,000 simultaneous users), and is providing technology for a similar system for vineyards in Portugal (IVV). The Irish IACS system includes a large spatial data warehouse (approx 20 spatial data layers with full national coverage) for which eSpatial built a web map portal for environmental assessment (for the Forest Service). eSpatial has deployed geospatial systems for ESB in Ireland and Railtrack in the UK.

eSpatial is a member of the standard-setting Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and IRLOGI, and is participating in research projects with UCD and DIT. eSpatial has also provided software, training, and other assistance to the National Centre for Geocomputation, Ireland and the Centre for Advanced Spatial Technologies (USA). eSpatial is currently carrying out a project funded by the European Commission JRC on GPS-based mobile land-use data collection and provided input to the Irish Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) project, related to the EU INSPIRE directive.

eSpatial contributes to ICING as a specialist in geospatial technologies, combining innovation and commitment to research, with considerable commercial experience and focus on the effort to move from research to realized solutions. The company's effort is estimated at 72 p-ms.
